At the heart of our Las Vegas Pi Beta Phi Alumnae Club is a shared commitment to literacy and community service. We are proud to partner with Spread the Word Nevada, a local nonprofit dedicated to advancing childhood literacy by placing books into the hands and homes of children in low-income communities.Throughout the year, our alumnae come together to host book drives, collecting new and gently used children’s books to help build home libraries for students across Southern Nevada. In addition to donating books, we volunteer our time at Spread the Word Nevada’s facility, where we clean, sort, and prepare books for distribution—ensuring that every child receives a book that’s not only educational but also in excellent condition.Through our continued efforts, we’re proud to support Pi Beta Phi’s national mission to promote literacy and make a lasting impact right here in our local community.
